Musings

*Recently I have been deathly afraid of raw sewage spewing up from the drain in our bathtub. It has happened a couple of times before, and I have been hearing the tale-tale noises which usually predict this horrid occurrence. It hasn't happened yet, but I think it is only a matter of time.

*Today I have a really bad stomachache. I always forget how much stomaches hurt, until I get one. No bueno. And I hate how when you have a stomachache, the pain comes in waves. It hurts really badly, and then it goes away and you feel a tiny bit of hope that you are going to be fine, and then it comes right back atcha. Hate that.

*When I woke up this morning I felt like I could be getting a little sick. My throat kind of hurts and I have the sniffles. I can't afford to get sick right now. Literally, I can't afford it.

*I am taking the GRE on Saturday and I feel surprisingly calm about it. Kind of like I have accepted my fate. So, we'll see what happens. Then after that I take the Psych GRE the next Saturday. Not feeling so calm about that one. I need to kick my patootie into gear and study for that.

*Because I have been trying to somewhat study for the GRE, I haven't had anytime to think of something fun to do on Halloween. This makes me really sad. I wanted to plan a fun party and do something original and scary, but the plans never came to me. So, I'm not sure what we are going to do.

*I really, really, really like Jeff. He has been helping me with the math section of the GRE, (because I am a stupid idiot) and he is always so patient and kind. Plus, he is a genius at math. I wish I could take him in with me when I take the test. He has also been taking Hero to the park for me, so I can study, and last night he made me southwestern egg rolls, just because I wanted them. I'm really glad he chose to like me too. :)

*I like these pictures that we took. It is a fun sequence, and I like how Hero had to jump up onto the back of the couch and join us.

Thoughts- You will ROCK the GRE! Rock it. Getting sick is lame-o and I can sympathize with that current experience. As for halloween plans: the ward trunk or treat. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Great pics!! They made my day. Good luck with the test. I doubt you're an "idiot" even with math. They'll be other Halloweens. I've lost count of the ones I'd planned on creating that special party for and not being able to follow thru on.

Good luck on the test! That first picture of Hero is cracking me up! Cutest thing ever with that eye bulging out trying to force her head in there!

Ewww, sewage back up? Yuck! Studying? Thank goodness I'm old and don't have to do that now...not that I ever did that when I was young! Good luck on the GRE--which I have no idea what that is (not a college person.) And finally, love the pics. That hero is a cutie (you guys, too.)

I don't think I have ever heard someone say I am taking the GRE and am a stupid idiot. Good luck!
