Yo yo bloggies

Is it okay if I call you that?  Sure?  Oh, ok, thank you.

Well, the day of lurve has come and gone, and I must say, it was a successful one.  Low key, but successful.

Get it?  Cause we're in love, so we're holding a love sign?

I decided to not be a horrible monster this year, and actually just celebrate Valentines day.  I started thinking about it, and decided not to knock the day, because let's just be honest.  Shouldn't you just celebrate any day that is supposed to make you happy and celebrate the good things in life?  The answer to that question is yes.

So I got all excited and got Jeff some presents.  I don't actually know if I want to tell you what they were, though.  Because, well, they're embarrassing.  Because they all have to do with the toilet.  On Valentines day.  Yep, classy, I know.
Ok, I'll just tell you.  So a while ago I saw a sign online that said something about home being a place that you could poop for however long you desire, and I immediately thought of Jeff.  Because, well, Jeff has had some stomach issues in the past, and often takes a LONG time in the bathroom.  And a couple of times when I have wanted to go out on the town he has wanted to stay home, so that he could be close to his beloved toilet.  So, it just fit.   So, I decided to make a sign of my own.

And I printed it out and framed it for him.  I also bought him a Mammoth Reader...you know one of those huge books that are full of random facts that go on top of the toilet so that you have something to read when you're just hanging out in there?  He mentioned he wanted one, so I jumped on that idea.

And, lest you think that I only care for bathroom themed presents, I'll tell you that I also got him some of his favorite candy (which I think tastes like poo) and a new battery in his watch (so that he can look at how much time he is spending in the bathroom and then just not care about it).  Okay, so that kind of backfired.  Yeah, all of his presents were bathroom themed, I guess.  I just cannot NOT theme presents...it's a curse.
He, on the other hand, gave me a classy gift of delicious macaron cookies.  We were watching something on the foodnetwork and Wolfgang Puck was going crazy about these macarons that were sold in Payard bakery in the Caesars palace, and I really wanted to taste them.

(not them, but looks exactly like them)

They are delicious, my friends.  Delicious.  Also, he got me an amazing chocolate croissant and some beautiful roses.

So, overall, he did pretty good.  :)  I wasn't even expecting anything at all because we usually don't do anything on Valentines, and I didn't tell him that I was planning to get him anything.

Anywho, I also got to watch the Bachelor with some awesome girls, and that was lots of fun.  So all in all, it was a good day!  Yay for love, I guess.

Ha ha ha ha, very funny gift idea. I think you should blog some "theme present" ideas.

Loved the picture with you guys holding the Love sign on the RR tracks. I'm looking for the hidden message/analogy of that location. Poor Jeff.
