I have made my decision

Well, after much thought and deliberation, I have decided that I do not know anything about computers.  Okay, I lied.  It didn't take that much thought or deliberation.

My computer-wise brother in law laughingly told me that of course there was a way to not have search engines pick up your blog, when I asked him how it could be done.  Of course then he started going off about robots and entering them in the html editor and crawling and other stuff.

Since I don't speak gobbildy gook, I obviously had no idea what he was talking about. And, since I also do not have robots sitting around that know anything about html editors, I figured I had to take control of the situation.  AND I HAVE.

What do these pictures have to do with my decision?  Well, you'll just have to ask and find out!  As a clue...I have decided to create a new blog.  It's gonna be so awesome, you guys.  Seriously.  Well, I hope so.

And, as such, this blog will no longer function.  :(  Sad face.  But, it must be done, for the time being.  So, what I'm trying to say is, I will be posting on another blog site.  I don't want to link that site to this blog, for the reason that (since I know nothing about computers, I think this makes sense in my mind) I don't want the search engines to get that site somehow attached to this site.  Just nod your head and say yes.

SO, if you want to know the new site just leave a comment and a way for me to get back to you, and I will send you the info.  Also, I'll probably be linking it to my facebook, so if you are friends with me then you can try to find it that way too.  And, if you don't know me at all but you still like to read my blog, then still ask me!  I don't care at all...I just like that people read my blog and want to still read it!  Believe me, I read so many people's blogs that I have never actually met/seen/knew about in real life.  I don't think it's creepy at all.  If you like my blog, then I like you.

Anyway, see you on the other side!  They'll be lots of pictures and fun.  I'm excited!

Working on it

Thanks for the comments and support, all.  I'm seriously thinking about what my next blog step will be.  It seems really sad to stop this blog, since I've been doing it for about three years.  So I was thinking about just forking over the money and continuing it...then I starting thinking about how people can just find it super easily through google.  So, just to find out if I was really that popular, I googled mine and Jeff's names together, and WAAPOW.  Blog popped up.

SOOOO, not quite sure what my next step is.  Pay up and make it private?  An option.  Create a new blog through blogger because I am familiar with, and really like, the system?  Also possible.  Create a new blog and link it to this one for a short time, then make this one non readable?  Possible.  Follow another wise person's advice and create another blog through a different site that excludes search engines?  Also a good option.

As you can see, I have quite the dilemma.  I wish blogger could just exclude search engines and then I would be totally willing to pay the money and keep the blog.  Oh well, I am just comforted by the fact that not many people read this blog, so it won't be THAT huge of a switch, if it comes to it.  So, anyway, I need to make the decision soon because not being able to put up pictures is killing me.  I can't really have a good post without any pictures.  Ya know?

Probably one of the best nights of my life

Last Saturday.  Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, playing at UNLV.

Completely mind blowing.

We had second row seats, that were in the $60 a ticket range.  Only cost us $28 for both tickets together.  Thank you UNLV student rush.  (Granted we pay a lot more than $120 in tuition, but hey--it was still cool.)

Hottie.

Yeah, he did an encore solo performance RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.  I could feel the wind from his trumpet blowing in my hair.  I don't think I blinked the entire time.  This picture makes him seem like a lot farther away than he actually really was.
Holy cow it was completely amazing.

Also, Jeff downloaded the old pictures from his phone to my computer, and I came across this one.

I have no idea what this is, when it was taken, or why.

He's a weirdo.

Oh, and apparently I now have run out of space on my blog to post pictures, so if I want to post any more, then I need to buy more space.  I just need to figure out what I'm going to do, cause I might be discontinuing this blog anyway because of privacy stuff with the whole keeping-my-private-life-private-once-you-start-seeing-clients-in-therapy stuff.  I don't know why I just hooked all of those words together with --s.  So yeah, stay updated.  Maybe I'll just go crazy and start a new anonymous blog or something...don't miss out.

woot woot

White coat ceremony today.

It's to remind all of the dental students that they're in dental school, I think.  At least that's what I got from the shindig.

Congratulations, Jeffie.  We're all really, really proud of you.  You're amazing.

We all look up to you.  Or maybe just my mom.  :)

(I forgot that the ISO on my camera was turned up to 1600 because the lighting in the theater was so bad, so all of the pictures outside look grainy.  L.A.M.E.  Oh well, it was pretty dark outside too, so I guess it's better than having completely dark pictures.  I really need to set the date for that photography class...)

Yo yo bloggies

Is it okay if I call you that?  Sure?  Oh, ok, thank you.

Well, the day of lurve has come and gone, and I must say, it was a successful one.  Low key, but successful.

Get it?  Cause we're in love, so we're holding a love sign?

I decided to not be a horrible monster this year, and actually just celebrate Valentines day.  I started thinking about it, and decided not to knock the day, because let's just be honest.  Shouldn't you just celebrate any day that is supposed to make you happy and celebrate the good things in life?  The answer to that question is yes.

So I got all excited and got Jeff some presents.  I don't actually know if I want to tell you what they were, though.  Because, well, they're embarrassing.  Because they all have to do with the toilet.  On Valentines day.  Yep, classy, I know.
Ok, I'll just tell you.  So a while ago I saw a sign online that said something about home being a place that you could poop for however long you desire, and I immediately thought of Jeff.  Because, well, Jeff has had some stomach issues in the past, and often takes a LONG time in the bathroom.  And a couple of times when I have wanted to go out on the town he has wanted to stay home, so that he could be close to his beloved toilet.  So, it just fit.   So, I decided to make a sign of my own.

And I printed it out and framed it for him.  I also bought him a Mammoth Reader...you know one of those huge books that are full of random facts that go on top of the toilet so that you have something to read when you're just hanging out in there?  He mentioned he wanted one, so I jumped on that idea.

And, lest you think that I only care for bathroom themed presents, I'll tell you that I also got him some of his favorite candy (which I think tastes like poo) and a new battery in his watch (so that he can look at how much time he is spending in the bathroom and then just not care about it).  Okay, so that kind of backfired.  Yeah, all of his presents were bathroom themed, I guess.  I just cannot NOT theme presents...it's a curse.
He, on the other hand, gave me a classy gift of delicious macaron cookies.  We were watching something on the foodnetwork and Wolfgang Puck was going crazy about these macarons that were sold in Payard bakery in the Caesars palace, and I really wanted to taste them.

(not them, but looks exactly like them)

They are delicious, my friends.  Delicious.  Also, he got me an amazing chocolate croissant and some beautiful roses.

So, overall, he did pretty good.  :)  I wasn't even expecting anything at all because we usually don't do anything on Valentines, and I didn't tell him that I was planning to get him anything.

Anywho, I also got to watch the Bachelor with some awesome girls, and that was lots of fun.  So all in all, it was a good day!  Yay for love, I guess.

Leave now, and never come back!

So anyone who has seen me recently is likely to be at least visually acquainted with my new associate. He is sort of a sly fellow that prefers to make gradual, unremarkable, and uninvited appearances. He is my double chin...

Well, he is an alright-enough guy, and we've shared some good times together. But lately he's really been getting on my nerves. So I've decided that I have no choice but to kill him. There simply is not enough room in my cephalic regions for both him and my dashing good looks. So have a good long look. For tomorrow he embarks on his journey toward the way of all flesh.
