By the light of the silvery moon

It is likely that we are going to be leaving Provo in December, and I got to tell you, I am starting to feel a little sad about this. Gasp!! Yes, yes I know. Anyone who knows us very well knows that we are adamently against everything Provo/Utah and that we can't wait to get back to Vegas.

But, in our hurry to acquit ourselves from this place, I think that we have really missed out on some of the fun there is to do around here. So lately I have been on a "let's do everything cool there is to do around here before we leave and regret it for the rest of our lives" mission.

We have gone hiking in several spots, we went to the Vetrans Memorial Pool (which was pretty fun by the way, although kind of crowded), we take Hero outside to the park as much as we can, we are going on a ward campout this weekend, you get the idea. Anytime I hear of something fun to do here, I try to check it out.

I recently heard about this neat event that they do at Sundance called Full Moon Lift Rides, so we decided to check it out. It was such a fun thing to do, and I totally recommend it! It was so fun to cuddle together under a blanket on the lift and look out at the forest all around you.

Here we are before we bought our tickets to go on the lift. It was actually quite cold up in the mountains, but it turned out okay because I brought a blanket. A UNLV blanket. Gotta represent.

Here we are on the lift. Jeff is actually afraid of heights, so it's pretty impressive that his smile is this big. Actually, I think this is before I started terrorizing him and telling him how far away from the ground we were. He wasn't smiling then. That's why he loves me!

And here is one of our legs dangling. It was really dark outside!

Anyway, if you are up in the Provo area I highly recommend it. You will have to look up on Sundance's website when they are actually running the lift, because they only do it two days out of every month when there is a full moon. But it is a fun experience!
