We weren't quite sure about taking the monster, but Jenny thought that she would be fine, so we ended up bringing her. I am so glad that we did! She was in monster heaven!! She loved running along the path and climbing over all of the rocks. The breeders that we got her from lived in northern Utah and had huge trees all around their house. I think they let the dogs out a lot, because Hero loves doing anything outside!
At the top of the hike there is this small canyon on the mountain that has the most beautiful lake! The water was a gorgeous teal green color and it was so clear you could see right through it! We found a big boulder right at the shore of the lake to eat our lunch on and then we stuck our feet in the water. It was freezing!
After that we went over to her house for some burgers and watched a movie. It was a great day!

I wish it weren't 150 degrees here. And that we had trees. And shade. And canyons. You guys are cute.
