probably because I woke up way earlier than usual, in order to take Hero to the vet. I want to be a morning person so badly...to wake up, have a nice cup of tea while looking at the news, and then do some morning stretches and take a shower. It never happens. Sleep and I are just too close to one another. It is a very, very tight-knit relationship. It's probably pathological, but I just don't know if I will ever be able to get out of it.

And then there's this, also from my time in Spain. Okay, this one isn't entirely true, because I wasn't exactly asleep in this specific picture.
That's not to say, however, that this never happened for reals. On the contrary, mon frere. It happened. A lot. This horribly blurry picture is just one example...which someone took for fun so that they could blackmail me. Hehe....joke's on them, because I have no pride.
Yep yep yep. I like to sleep. Probably too much.
Anyways, like I thought, Hero has a hotspot. Again. Apparently she gets them because she has allergies, so I think we're going to have to get her some allergy medicine/shampoo/spray. That will be good because it will prevent her from scratching her skin so raw that it gets infected. And, it will prevent regular $110 visits to the vet. Nicer on the pocketbook, you know?
Other than that, things are going pretty well. I've finished classes for the week, but have been slacking MAJOR in getting homework done. I need to get started on that, right away. Classes are going to be really good this semester, though. I can feel it.
Tomorrow I'm going to wake up early and make some fresh bread while I do some reading. I think I'm gonna go with white bread this time. Last week I did half wheat/white, and it was pretty tasty. But I'm just feeling the white right now.
Here's my picture for the day. And yes, I'm wearing a poncho. It's like wearing a soft, warm, beautiful blanket around all day. Actually, it's exactly like wearing a soft, warm, beautiful blanket around all day...probably because it is a blanket with a cut down the side. Anyway, it's heavenly. Any guesses where it came from? I'll give you a clue...it only cost $4.
And I'm including this one too, just 'cause I like it. But Jeff didn't really like it. He thought I looked like an anime character. I guess because he thought the black stuff in the back was supposed to be my hair. Weird. I just put my hair up cause I didn't wash it today...too lazy.
Oh! In other good news, I just bought an incredible groupon today! $50 for a four hour photography class, that is usually $250! I'm super excited, cause I really don't have any idea what I am doing when it comes to taking pictures. I need someone to give me a better idea about how to get the relationship right between shutter speed and aperture, and what to do about taking pictures that let in enough light but don't make things blurry. I'm really bad at that. So, I'm really excited! Hopefully I'll start taking better pictures and then be able to share them on the interweb. We'll see.
Off to read my textbooks in my comfy bed. Or, in other words, good night!
