Yo, what sup

Sometimes I wonder why I am doing more school.  I mean, don't get me wrong, I love learning, and I love my program, and I love what I am going to be able to do once I graduate, and I love that I am going to be able to help people...I love it all so far.

But sometimes I'm happiest when I am doing the simple things...things like washing and folding laundry, baking, vacuuming, organizing, etc.  Maybe I should just make that my profession?  But then again, I think I am happy doing those things because I get to take a break from writing 14 page papers and listen to a book while I do them.  So, maybe I wouldn't be happy doing them all the time.

Anyway, today has been a good day.  I slept in a little bit, did a couple of loads of laundry, vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom counter, took a shower, and blog stalked.  All in all, a successful morning/early afternoon I think.  Now I am planning on taking the dogs to the park--it is such a gorgeous day outside.  After that I think I might come home and try this pretzel recipe.  On one of the blogs I stalk they said it turned out really well, so I think I might just have to try it.  I LOVE baking--a couple of weeks ago I made some homemade rolls to go with dinner (soup, I think) and then the next morning I made some homemade bread.  Holy moly was it so tasty.  Perfect for toast, sandwiches, or just melting some butter and stuffing into your face. And it was surprisingly easy too, although it took a good 3 hours to make.  But that's okay, cause I got my books to listen to!

Oh, and guess what time of the year it is??  REBEL BASKETBALL TIME!!  A time of ups, and downs.  Usually more downs than ups, but hopefully for our sakes, more ups than downs this season.  And lucky, lucky us--we both get free tickets cause we're Rebels ourselves.  I've never had the privilege of having my own student ticket at the game--should be fun!  First game is tonight, and I think we are going...unless Jeff passes out when he finally gets home because he pulled an all nighter last night studying for a test.  He seems to do that a lot now.  Actually, about once or twice a week lately.  Poor thing.  Oh well, more room for me in the king size bed.  :) And I get to avoid this:
