One of the great things about Las Vegas is that there is a really neat dog park near our house.
Whenever we say the word "park" to Hero, her ears prick up, she runs to the door, and starts whining until we let her into the car. She loves going to the park and visiting with other dogs.
Anna Belle, on the other hand, is basically scared stiff by other dogs. But we bring her to the park anyway, so that we can socialize her and show her there is nothing to be afraid of.

Hero, making some friends.

Hero really loves playing with other dogs that are her same size.

Chain sniffing. Thank goodness that humans don't get to know each other the same way that dogs do. That would just be awkward.

I loved this poodle's face. I think I will definitely be getting one of these in the future. They are adorable, smart, and personable.

When I first saw this dog, I thought it was a polar bear. It was huge!! It's a Samoyed, and it was a gorgeous gorgeous animal. I have always wanted one of these big dogs.

Anna Belle likes getting to know other dogs, as long as she is still near a person. What a silly little pooch.

I would be happy to take these dogs every day to the park, except they always come home with little burs stuck in their fur and paws. It takes 30 minutes to comb all of the burs out, but it is still worth it to see them having fun.
