Things, things, things.

Either my pants are shrinking, or I am gaining weight. It wouldn't surprise me if I was gaining a little weight, although on the other hand, it would kind of surprise me. I'm not really doing anything different recently...although I do seem to gain weight when I go home. My dad just makes too much tasty food, and I cannot help myself but eat it. Anyway, it doesn't really matter except that my pants aren't really fitting anymore. Even right now, as I sit at my desk at work, I have the top button of my jeans undone, because they are too tight! It's frustrating, because I am NOT going to be buying more pants. So, I guess I will have to figure something out. Exercise, ugh.

I feel like I am getting Christmas jypped this year. Since we are moving in a couple of weeks, I don't want to get our Christmas stuff out, just so we can put it away. But, it doesn't even feel like Christmas at all! No music, no decorations, no lights, no food, no holiday cheer. I feel like the Grinch or something. BUT, I am planning on going to Salt Lake so that we can see the lights and Temple Square. I have never seen them before, and I don't want to leave Utah without that experience. It would be tragic. So maybe it will feel more like Christmas after I see the temple...

Not really lights, but still an awesome picture anyway.

Tomorrow I am planning on going on a hike with my aunt, Jeff and Katie. We are going to hike in the freezing cold for two hours, so that we can sit in natural warm springs called "hot pots". I'm excited, and I think it will be fun. I just hope it isn't too cold that I am completely miserable. But I am more excited than anything. Maybe I will burn some calories so my pants will fit again. I hope it won't be too snowy or cold, so that we can bring Hero along. That little monster is a hiking fiend. She would love it.

I went to the dentist yesterday. I have four cavities. Yikes. I got an estimate from the office about how much my insurance would cover, and how much I would have to pay. It really wasn't that bad, but I called the insurance company to make sure that is what I would really be paying. I ended up so confused, frustrated, and crying. I hate crying, because I feel all emotional and dramatic. Yuck. So, I still don't know exactly what will happen, but I am going to call on Monday to see if I can find out. Blaa.

Lately I have been staying up late watching Hoarders and Intervention on the computer. I so love these shows. They make my little psychology brain all excited. Oooh, want to know the best show on TV right now? 30 Rock, bar none. Oh my goodness, last night's episode was a masterpiece. They did a spoof of Golumn's conversation with himself in Lord of the Rings, and it was classic. Simply marvelous. The Office, on the other hand, was disappointing. I want to like it, really I do. I want to continue being a fan of the show, but they just have to give me a little something funny. That's all I am asking for. Last night's episode was just awkward and boring. Better luck next episode, I guess.

Well, the time is here to mail in my application to grad school. I just need to finish up a few things, print out some stuff, and then make a trip to the post office. Fun fun fun!

I like these pictures:

A husky and a polar bear playing together. Love it.

I think Jeff should wear this outfit. I like it a lot.

The end.

If The Office doesn't watch it, they will lose me as a viewer. I don't watch 30 Rock. Intervention and Hoarders are two of my faves. I feel so much better about my life after watching them. Is that wrong? Have fun at the Hot Pots!

1. As you age, you'll find pants tend to shrink easier.
2. Seeing Temple Square Christmas lights would be great!
3. Insurance companies have too much control over us.
4. Good luck on grad school

I love these kind of posts from you!

I wonder if they are making fabric cheaper so it shrinks more, since I have the same problem of my pants getting tighter. :O)

I liked this post! We really enjoyed our temple light experience w/ y'all. I hope the hot pots were fun. I've never been there (always scared of the hippies that hang out there). Good luck on the grad school applications! Has to feel good to turn those in. And merry merry christmas!
