Christmas is coming,

the goose is getting fat. I never learned what a hey-penny is. Does anyone know what a hey-penny is?

So, because we have had no Christmas this year, I decided to rifle through some of our pictures of Christmases past, in order to feel that Christmas spirit. Sorry Dickens, I decided to nix the scary doll ghost of Christmas Past (I seriously always thought she was scarier than the ghost grim reaper), and instead just go through my memories of Christmas myself.

2007 Christmas : Our first Christmas as a married couple. How sweet.

We bought and set up our tree.

And then we pointed at it.

Because we were proud.

Jeff, brave man that he is, risked life and limb to set up our o'r the cabinet decorations. What a stud.

We made the requisite sugar cookies.

Tasty.

2008 Christmas: The monster joined us.

A snow monster!

Ho ho ho. What a cheery soul.

We did a little Christmas modeling. 'Tis the season.

You know you like it.

But the best part was all our time with the family. Man we love these guys.

So there we are. Memories of Christmases past, and we're ready to make some for Christmas present!

Merry Christmas everyone!

A ha'penny is just a coin that is worth half a penny. Hence the ha(lf) penny. :)

We're trying to tell ourselves we'll have a merry Christmas at home but we'll miss everyone and the traditions! (speaking of traditions will you have Jeff make me some albondigas soup and ship it :o) )
