To Casey and everyone else who wants to see my new mullet: pictures will be coming soon. And they will be very mulletesque. But don't worry Lauren, I will have my shirt on. I don't want to scare away everyone who reads my blog.
In the meantime, I have an issue. Okay, I have many, many issues, but this one is important.
I love breakfast, but I hate most breakfast foods. BIG ISSUE, right? I just don't know what to do about this, because it bugs me every single morning. I want to have something tasty and delicious, but there just aren't that many breakfast foods that I find tasty, or delicious. And then I come to work and look at this blog, and then I feel both hungry for tasty breakfast and disgusted by the food.
You see, I have a problem with eggs. I do not like them, not unless they are fried and without yolk. I don't know why without yolk, but I just have to say that it is my mother's fault. She always hated yolks and made our eggs without them, and now I just can't stand the taste of them. BUT, most breakfast foods that everyone else likes involve yolky-eggs:
Scrambled eggs.

Omlets.

Breakfast burritos.

Fried eggs with runny yolks.

I also dislike sausage, and am not the hugest fan of oatmeal. Also, not a huge fan of vegetables when they are combined with breakfast-like foods.
Ugh. Luckily, I do like many breakfast foods. Unluckily, they are all breakfast foods that take a while to make, and since I am ALWAYS running late in the morning, I don't often get to make them. But believe me I would love to have some buttery warm waffles, french toast, pancakes, bacon, fried hashbrowns (like the kind McDonalds makes--yum!), yogurt and fresh fruit, a warm bagel with cream cheese, germade, a fresh hot chocolate muffin. Ooh, and Cameron and Lauren introduced us to such a tasty breakfast--huevos rancheros (with a fried egg without yolk of course).

Okay, I've got to stop. I'm too hungry to take this anymore.
Seriously though, am I the only one with egg problems? Jeff loves any and all forms of egg. I feel like I am taking crazy pills...

I have issues with morning time to. Sometimes I like eating breakfast, but then other times everything sounds gross to me. However when I am in the "no breakfast" mood, smoothies always taste good to me.
There is one breakfast food to rule them all! http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_v5hyrF23HPQ/SagaH_O1H5I/AAAAAAAAACQ/SF9uXgF63LU/s320/256941266_m.jpg
btw, the huevos rancheros picture made me desperately hungry...
I thought I hated breakfast foods until someone wise suggested that it was perhaps maple syrup that I despised. That person was correct. I get butter flavor syrup now and breakfast foods are my friends now. Also, I don't know what to tell you about eggs. I heart them. Not runny, though.
Eggs disgust me. I can't do any of the things you listed, with or without yolks. :)I like sweeter breakfasts so I usually make muffins (banana nut, blueberry, cinnamon, whatever) and those last awhile. Very easy to grab and go. I can eat the same thing for breakfast for 2 weeks straight without getting sick of it though which some people can't do.
Choc Carnation Instant Breakfast drink is yummy, quick and easy. You can be creative and make a breakfast shake by adding banana, protein powder, ice, etc using non-fat milk, of course. As for eggs: scamble three egg whites with one yolk, it's not yolky flavored. (is yolky a word?)
Runny yolks + buttery toast = Early morning heaven on a plate. Mmmm...
i'd like to see the mullet no shirt photo...
Eggs with no yolk? I don't think so! But, I really would rather have a sweet roll, oatmeal cookie, or something sugary for breakfast than any type of egg. I'm probably taking the same crazy pills you're taking and doesn't it make us much more fun to be around. :O)
yes I love breakfast foods but no breakfast food cooking time or patience so we have breakfast foods for dinner all the time. Or if you're not liking breakfast foods have dinner for breakfast haha
I like eggs though not as much as I think I do once I eat them but still good stuff
