So I have been kind of busy studying and working and stuff, and can't seem to find a lot of time to blog. Also, I have some fun pictures but I haven't loaded them onto my computer yet, so I haven't been able to post about them. But, I will do that soon!
In the meantime, I just wanted to highlight a few things that I really like. Firstly, I am super impressed by my sisters post on feminism. Check it out, and comment on what you think! I really like this topic and have my own views on it, but I am always curious about what other people think. I think feminism is a greatly misunderstood topic in our country, and I always like it when people who don't understand the topic can become more informed.
Also, I don't know if I have talked about this before, but everyone should check out this blog. The sociology class that I used to TA for now hosts a blog, and I think it is so interesting! The students can post on current topics that are going on today--everything from same sex marriage to immigration to political issues--you name it. The students are the only ones who can post, but anyone can comment, and the professor wants everyone to comment! So anyway, check it out because they talk about some pretty cool issues there.

Hmmmm, deep topic. I always thought a "feminist" was a negative label for someone like Rosie O. But then, there have been doors held for me by women, were they feminists or just polite-ists?
