These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad, I think of these things. Okay, not really. But these things are totally sweet!

The weather is starting to get colder, and that means that it is sweater time! I love love sweaters! They keep my puny arms warm, and just look so gosh dang cute. But, the annoying thing about any and all sweaters is that they get a horrible layer of fuzz on them; so instead of feeling cute in a sweater, I feel like a dork wearing around a layer of fuzz.

What to do? Introduce one of the greatest inventions of all time:
The fuzz remover! Mine isn't quite as bright and blinding as this one, but it still works the same. Inside the contraption there are these rotating fan blades that chop off all of the fuzz and gather it all together so that you can throw it away. Nice, easy clean up. Nice, clean sweater!

So if you have the same fuzzy problems that I do, I highly recommend the fuzz remover. I think it was only like 10 dollars at Target, and I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe.

A few years ago Jeff's wonderful mother gave me this oil burner for Christmas, and I have loved it ever since! You can get a million different scents from Bath and Body Works, and they all smell lovely.
I really like it around this time of year, because I love it when my house smells like pumpkin or other fall scents. Yum yum.

Jeff and I have recently been doing Meatless Mondays. I think Jeff blogged about it a while ago on our food blog (which we are sooo bad about updating--new posts to come soon!!). Anyway, it is a really cool campaign, and we have loved our new weekly tradition.

One reason that we have loved it is because Jeff found the most wonderful pasta recipe ever.

I have never been one to really enjoy vegetables--except for the heavenly golden tastiness that is corn--but I am a complete sucker for this recipe. It has zucchini, squash, red bell peppers, onions, and let me just tell you, the smell that emanates from our oven when those veggies are roasting---it is to die for. We have made a few changes to the recipe; I hate peas so those definitely do not defile the pasta, and we basically use whatever cheese we have at the time. We have used mozzarella, fontina, parmesean--they are all good. Anyway, try it--I just know you will love it. And try to do a meatless Monday tradition in your own home! It's good for you, for the environment, for everyone!

I love this blog called design sponge. I am sure all of you have heard of it, but if not--check it out! They have the coolest DIY section that is full of fun projects that I want to do in my house. Especially this one:
Homemade terrariums of moss? Yes please.

I'm in love with the fall scents too!! I was at Bath & Body the other day and they have some new fall candles! I think that the one I loved was called "leaves" or something like that. It smelled like autumn goodness in a jar :)

The "Sound of Music" just keeps haunting me wherever I go! :O)

When I hit the dreaded age of menopause, I quit wearing sweaters because I'd be so HOT! I miss wearing them, especially if I could shave those horrible little balls off them.

I have missed your food updates and this recipe looks yummy! Can't wait to try it.

I love it, from pet peeves to favs. Proves how fickle women are, which you have every right to be, you do have to put up with Jeff, others, men in general :-)
I put meatless Mondays on par with speed bumps, necessary but not enjoyable
