I used to like it when it started to get dark outside earlier in the day. Maybe it's because I associated it with the fall season, and all of the wonderful things that go along with fall. Or maybe it's because when I was little, it felt like I got to stay up way later than usual. Whatever the reason, now I do not like it. Not at all. It feels like I get home from work, and then all of the sudden have to go to sleep. No more long days with sunsets around 9:00. Now the sun sets at 6:30 and I have constant tension inside me telling me I need to go to sleep, even though it's only 7:15 at night. Bummer.
Has anyone else experienced the feeling that their tongue is too big for their mouth? Sometimes when I lay down at night I get the feeling that my tongue has grown 100x larger and doesn't fit inside my mouth anymore. Obviously it is the same size, and still does fit, but why would it try to freak me out like that? Why tongue? Why?
Hero has been better about going to the bathroom outside. I feel like I only ever talk about her bodily functions lately. Oh, the other day when I took her out on a walk, she went #2 three separate times. Three times! I couldn't believe it. What the heck is going on with that little monster?
Anyway, she is really cute. Right now she looks like a stuffed animal puppy. I would take pictures of her, but our camera is getting fixed. Oh yeah, did I forget to tell you that story? The auto-focus on our camera wasn't working, so we took the camera to a small camera repair shop. We weren't sure how much it was going to cost to fix the camera, or if it would even be worth it. Anyway, the owners told us that a pin on the inside of the camera was missing, and that they would have to order the pin and replace it inside of the camera. They said that the labor to fix it would cost $125, and the pin would cost....$4. Ha. Jeff and I thought it was pretty funny, just because we were expecting a much bigger number for the cost of the material. I was getting my haggling shoes on and getting ready to try to talk them down, but then they surprised us with that. SO, when we get our nice camera back then I will start taking pictures again.
I recently got an e-mail from my dad that had some hilarious fix-it pictures. Sorry if you have already seen these, but they were just too funny not to share:
I like this one because I can relate. Not that we have to do this in our shower, or that our shower is this nasty--because it's not!!--but because I have to use pliers every time I want to turn on our dryer. When we moved in the knob was missing, so for a year + I have been doing this to dry our clothes. Fun stuff.
Haha too funny. I just wonder what was going through their heads when they did this. "There, now no one can get into our gas plug and steal our gas!" Or, "Now no one will be able to notice that our van has a broken gas thingy".
Probably my favorite. I have had my share of bike incidents, so for me at least, the more wheels the better! I love that he is riding this on the road, in flip flops. This is just an accident waiting to happen.

Red Necks can be very ingenious! As for Hero, no comment :)
I enjoyed the shopping cart grill the best. That was fabulous.
You find the funniest pictures.
Is it okay that I laughed out loud at your tongue dilemma? It's just that I've never...
