Day at the Doggy Spa

Fun fact: Hero is obsessed with the bathtub. Anytime that I go near the tub she runs into the bathroom and puts her paws up onto the side of the tub. If I am taking a shower she tries to get up on the tub, push the shower curtain aside and then lick the water that is falling down from the shower head. She is so weird! I honestly have no idea why she is so obsessed with the bathtub, especially since she does NOT like getting baths.

Can't you tell? Look at those eyes--pleading to be released from the terror of the bathwater.

She hates it when the water goes over her eyes or nose. Hehe what a cutie.

What is the point of a bath if you can't syle really sweet do's? I think Hero rocks the hawk. I wish there was a way for her to have this style when her hair is dry!

But by the end of the bath I think she forgave us, or at least gave me a big smile for the photo--"I'll smile as long as you get me out of this water, right now!"

After running around like a psychopath to dry off, Hero let Jeff brush her for a little bit. Doesn't she look so fresh and so clean clean? She smelled pretty good too! Little did she know what else was in store for her...

Even though we got peanut butter flavored toothpaste, Hero still detests getting her teeth brushed. But Jeff did a pretty good job--I wonder if he can put this as dental experience on his application to dental schools?

And then we gave her a healthy snack. She didn't really eat it, but just kept rolling it around on the floor like a ball. Oh well, hopefully a little bit of an apple a day will keep the vet far, far away. Although you never really do know with this monster...
