A Thanksgiving Post

There is just so much to be grateful for this year! Here is my attempt to list everything that is most important to me!

Jeffie
I love love love Jeff. Words cannot really describe how I feel about him. He is one of the best people that I know, and he makes me so happy. I have so much fun with him even when we aren't doing anything! He can always make me laugh and he understands me so well. Every time I look at him I feel butterflies in my stomach and an overwhelming sense of love washes over me! He is my best friend.

My Family

Although I have always recognized that my family is wonderful, I do not think that I truly realized how amazing they really are until I moved to go to college. Ever since I have moved away, I have missed them terribly! Going back home for vacations just isn't enough--and I cannot wait to move back home for good!
My mother is the most understanding and empathetic person I know. She is hilarious, and knows just what to say to make everyone laugh! I love her so much and am so grateful for her wonderful example. Someday I dream to be half the amazing mother that she is.
My father is an amazing person. He has always taken such good care of me, and has supported me in all of my goals. He is the perfect example of someone who will do everything he can to help anyone. I have learned so much from him--probably most importantly, the joy of 70's music and the magic that is Steve Perry's voice.
Katie--my favorite middle sister! She is truly the cream in the middle of the Oreo that is our family. Haha just kidding Katie! She is such a beautiful, kind, intelligent, funny person. I am so proud of her! Anytime that I see a blond haired little girl I get a huge smile and feel like crying at the same time, because they remind me so much of my little Katie. She always makes me laugh and I still sing the songs that she made up when we would all sleep together in my bed. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing little sister to look up to. Bekah--the best littlest sister ever! Bekah is one of the bravest, smartest, most talented, kindest, most beautiful people I know. I am so proud of everything that she has accomplished! She is so smart and should be a psych major because she can tell so much about why people are the way that they are. She has an absolutely beautiful voice and can dance like crazy--WAY better than anyone in our family! I can always count on her to make me feel good--simply because she is so loving and caring. I love her!My new family! I could not have asked for a more kind, caring, compassionate family to have married into. I love them so much and feel like they have always been my family! I miss them so much when we are up here in Utah, and the thought of seeing them in Las Vegas makes me so happy! I love the family get togethers that we have--always full of laughter, fun, delicious food and adorable babies! One of the best parts of being married was getting to be a new daughter, sister, and especially an aunt! I truly love you guys!
Animals!
I love everything to do with animals! They are so forgiving and loving--they remind me of everything good about life. I am so lucky to have had two amazing little doggies that have made me so happy. I miss my Holly Belle, but am so lucky to have my little monster Hero.
School
Even though at times I feel like my life is nothing but homework and essays, I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to go to college. I have learned so much and I feel like my education has truly changed how I see the world. It's hard because the more I learn, the more I realize that I don't know anything--but I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had! I am glad to graduate in April, but am definitely looking forward to continuing my school career after I graduate!

Church
I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to have a living prophet on the earth, and the everlasting covenants of the temple.

Food!
Yum yum yum! I am so glad that I married a man who loves food as much as I do! We have so much fun eating out together--and finding new and exciting places to eat! One of our favorite things to do together is find new recipes, go to the grocery store and get all the stuff, and then come home and make delicious dinners! I love tasty food!

House
Even though our house is like more than 100 years old, I love it! It is very quaint and cute! Plus great neighbors! It has been a great move!
Friends
I have great friends! You all teach me so much and I love seeing everything that is going on in your lives! Can't wait to see you all at Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I'm excited to see you guys in a couple weeks! Even though you weren't officially Aunt Stephanie yet you got to meet and hold the first Baby Steed before Uncle Jeff. Hopefully you can still enjoy being a aunt when you see what we've done to your poor couch! Sorry again!
