My birthday was fun! Thanks to everyone that wrote me a message or called me! Sometimes weekday birthdays kind of stink because you can't do anything fun, but you all made it a special day!
The day started out awesome because Jeff made me breakfast! Hehe, he will probably be embarrassed if I tell this story, but I love it. He got up when I was in the shower to make me an egg mcmuffin, but I didn't know it. Because of that, I didn't come out into the living room until I was ready to go...almost 45 minutes later! Breakfast was pretty cold! Haha, then everything that could have gone wrong for him, did! We didn't have any ham for the egg mcmuffin, so it turned into an egg sandwhich. He also cut up a nectarine that I had gotten at the store, but it wasn't ripe yet. He wanted to add something else, so he squeezed yogurt out of a go-gurt tube! Haha I laughed so hard when I realized that! Plus, on top of it all, the light in the living room burnt out! Hehe I took a bite of the egg sandwhich, and I almost gagged. Then I was like, "Hey Jeff, do you want to have a bite?" He took a bite of it and said, "Ugh, thats gross! Don't eat it!" Haha, best birthday breakfast ever!!
A poem for you,
my sweet, lovely wife,
To show the effects
you have on my life.
Like Nacho is Libre,
I, too, am set free,
For you are good-looking,
(Ri-dic-u-lous-ly!)
You're the Yin to my Yang,
and that is for shizzle.
In short, you're the best...
You soothe my sizzle!

Amazing, I know, but I can't tell you where he composed it. He might actually get mad at me if I share that!
Anyway, then Jeff's birthday came next. I pretty much copied everything he did, and wasn't very inventive! I made him a big Saturday morning breakfast, with french toast, potatoes with ham and peppers, strawberries, yogurt, and--his favorite--grapefruit juice. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Then we got ready to go to the UNLV vs BYU football game. Brent came up from Las Vegas and went with us, and it was really fun to hang out with him again. I talked to the team (UNLV) and told them how important it was for Jeff that they win, it being his golden birthday and all, so they tried their best. It turned out to be a really good game, which I was happy about, because it meant that Jeff wouldn't be giving me the death stare for the rest of his birthday. (He gets pretty cranky when UNLV looses to anyone, but especially BYU!)
After that we hung out for a little while, and then went to get some dinner at India Palace again. We are seriously addicted to their Chicken Tikka Masala. Seriously. Then we came home and opened presents! I totally tricked Jeff! Although I got him an iPod Touch, I wrapped it in this HUGE box that my Mom had sent to me (with an amazing witch face inside) for my birthday. He had no idea he was getting it! But, he loved it! Thanks to Mom and Dad Pitts and Mom and Dad Steed for pitching in to get him it! I don't think I have ever seen him so happy about a present!
Halloween was fun! We took Hero to a party at Petsmart with a bunch of other dogs, and she had fun--I think.
I know, I know--we act like she is a child. Since we won't be having kids for a LONG while, I think that it is okay if we pretend!
Jeff and I ended up dressing up this year, which was a lot of fun! I was a witch, like usual, and Jeff--well you will just have to look at the picture and see for yourself.
His team at work got the gothic theme, so he had to dress up. Everyone, including me, thought that he looked way too natural in his costume. Haha freaky!

We went to the store and got Hocus Pocus, and a bottle of Martinellis. It was a fun night!!

Sounds like you had a great month! This was such a fun post to read. That poem is awesome. Romantic in its own right :)
Methinks we'll have to check out this India Palace next time we're in Provo.
And good job on the costumes. That picture of Jeff seriously scary. You know he done good when Cam comes out of nowhere and posts on someone's blog!
Are you guys coming down for Thanksgiving?
I agree, that indian resturant is bomb! That is if it is the same one that we went to before... makes me want gelato. Haha!
You guys are awesome. We totaly watched Hocus Pocus on Halloween night too, except I'm an old lady and only stayed awake for like half of it! Cool. Anyways, love you guys!
