One of the reasons I actually like February as a month is...

no, not Valentine's Day.  Actually, if you read my previous Valentine's post you might be under the impression that I hate hate hate February, because it was unlucky enough to house that dreaded holiday.  But actually, I may have changed my mind a little bit about Valentines as a whole...but anyway, that's a different post.

What I actually wanted to say is that one of the reasons I like February is because it is the month to celebrate two of my most favoritest people in the world.  My lovely mother and my adorable sister.

I love this picture of my mom as a little girl.  She is simply gorgeous.

My mother is simply the best.  She is kind, talented, thoughtful, creative, smart and (if you have ever had a conversation with her at all you'll know) completely hilarious.  You cannot be around her and not fall in love with her.  She has that effect on complete strangers and best friends alike.  If you can't tell, I am a really big fan of hers.

P.S.  Don't ask why we are holding a ceramic rabbit.  The picture was taken last Easter...so let's just say that is a good enough reason.

And then there is my little middle sister Katie.  She is crazy, amazing, smart, kind and completely and utterly wacky.  No one can make me laugh like this girl, and she has been able to do that since the time she was practically born.  She is a beautiful person and most of the time I feel like I look up to her as a big sister, because she is that great of a person.  I really like her too.

So in the end, February isn't all that bad.  I guess.  :)
