She looks like an angel

Just look at this cute little dog.

 

There's no way she could ever do anything wrong, right?

WRONG!

Tonight, on our walk, she did a doozy.

We walked to our church building, because it has grass and we wanted to let them run around on the grass for a bit.  When we got there we let Hero and Anna Belle off of their leashes to run around and play together.  Jeff and I stood off a ways, just looking at them and talking.

We started talking about them, how much we loved them, and how we would never think of having only one dog ever again, because they love each other so much.  As we are talking I notice that Anna Belle is rolling over repeatedly in one spot on the grass.  After about a minute of this, I walked over to her to see what she was doing.  When I looked down I smelt the raunchiest, nastiest smell and saw to my horror that she had been smearing her face in soft, mushy poop.  POOP!  On her face.  And body.  And halter.

Awe man, she is nasty.  The good part is that we gave her a bath when we got home.  The bad part is that we had to walk downwind the whole way home.  I'll tell ya, I don't know if I have smelt poop that strong in a long time.  And I hope that I won't for a long time yet.
