Poor, poor monkey

Once upon a time, Bekah had this monkey hanging up in her car.  I don't know why.

Then, as we were driving in her car, she did something that bugged me, so I threatened to throw her monkey out of the window.

She didn't believe that I would do it.  That, of course, made me want to do it all the more.  So I did.

I threw that monkey out of the window, and what do you know, I have perfect aim.  From a moving car, no less!  That little monkey went right into the dumpster.  My mom and Bekah screamed at the same time.  I laughed.

Until I felt bad, and then decided that I needed to get the monkey out for her.

Little did I know what that dumpster held.

I thought it would be one of those regular dumpsters that had boxes and bags of paper trash.  Nope.
It was full of horse poop.

And I had to stick my life and limb into the dumpster to get that poor, little sad monkey out.

But I did.  Katie wasn't too impressed.

I rescued that poor little fella, and returned him to his mama.  She didn't want him anymore.
I convinced her that we don't leave anyone behind.  Not even if they have been thrown down in the poop.  No one gets left behind.

She got me back by squishing me the whole ride home...which was about 5 seconds from where the dumpster was.

So we kept that poor little guy.  I like him a lot more now that he has a much more colorful history.

Maybe next time Bekah bugs me I'll throw her in the dumpster.
