Want to know something funny?

Standing up all day makes your feet hurt. Who woulda thought?

So, there are some phrases from movies/books that have become part of our family vocabulary--so much so, in fact, that we hardly realize that they aren't real normal phrases when we say them. Some of these might be:

-"What's it doing, precious?"
-"Ees for fun"
-"This ees thu worst lunch, I have eber had"
-"Good toast"
-"She had to be!! She had to be...hhhhhhaa"
-"That was not smart, that was not smart!"

You know what made me realize this fact? Yesterday at work I said one of these phrases on a whim when talking to my coworker, and she looked up at me with the blankest look of "what the heck did you just say" that I immediately had to mentally review the last sentence that came out of my mouth. After doing that, I realized that I had just asked her about a patient's chart by saying, "what's it doing, precious?" It was kind of embarrassing. She thought I was nuts. And I guess, by what I said, she was right.

I really like all of these pictures.

Tomorrow is my day off. I have an exciting day planned. I am going to go see if I can get money for some of my old clothes, going to pick up my old high school transcripts so I can save $6,500 a semester, going to ride bikes in the manana, and going to decorate our patio and make it a cool place to have dinners and such. Oooh something else exciting...I found out that I get the 5th of July off! Hooray, because I didn't think I was going to get it off. Oh, and something else--I have given work notice of my last day. Officially, I will be done working as a CA for good on July 30th. Pretty dang exciting if you ask me.

I got teal shoes the other day at Plato's Closet. They are so super cool. I want to have a photo shoot of them. I think I will.
