*Jeff and I pretty much predicted that Miss Virginia would win the Miss America pageant last night. She was gorgeous. And surprisingly, one of the only ones that we thought was even semi good looking. I mean, it is a BEAUTY pageant...why were most of them hideous? I asked Jeff if Miss Virginia was prettier than me and he immediately said, "No!" But what if he had said yes?
*We went out to get Ben and Jerry's ice cream last night, after we took a 3 hour nap. On a Saturday night. Pretty lame, right? But anyway, the brownies in my Half Baked ice cream were kind of crunchy. Crunchy brownies? Doesn't that go against everything that is good in this world? Needless to say, I was more than a little disappointed.
*I love the smell of my pumpkin Salt City candle. I can't stop lighting it, even though it is sad because it makes me think that it is autumn. But it isn't autumn. In fact, autumn is as far away as it could possibly be. Sad.
*The puppies make me really happy. If I could just hang out with them all day long, I think that I would be totally content with my life.
*When Jeff kisses me on the cheek, or on the side of my forehead, I think I am the happiest girl around. It is such a sweet kiss...I just don't think he would kiss me like that unless he really meant it at that moment. And that makes me indescribably happy.
*I need to think of something fun to do on Friday for my mom's birthday. What to do, what to do?
*Look! One of my most favorite characters ever, in the flesh!! I have to read this book again. It's genius, pure genius.

*Well I gotsta go. I smell chilaquiles cooking downstairs and my stomach is an-hungered. Tasty!!

Who's the character and what's the book? Jeff's cooking? Sounds yummy!
The character and book are both Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra. It's fantastic!
I keep burning one of my christmas candles b/c I love it so much.
i LOVE it when my parents do stuff like that, me and my sisters mass text it out to each other because it's the best part of the day
I knew it! I totally want to read that book. I wish I could be there for mom's birthday. We never got her the Christmas present we wanted to get. You should take her to get them, and I'll be there in spirit. :)
Hi Steph,
I just found your blog and have enjoyed poking around here and Buen Provecho. I love your stories and pictures! I added you to my favorites bar, so I'll come back and visit.
