Ta da!

So, here is the finished product! I forgot to take a picture of what the wall looked like before, but just believe me, it wasn't nice.
I have been wanting to do something like this for a really long time, but I just never could stomach going to the store and buying frames that cost so much money. Walmart has pretty good frames, for pretty good prices, but even there a small frame will cost you anywhere from 1-4 dollars. And when you are wanting to buy a lot of frames to fill up the wall, that just isn't going to work. Plus, I wanted to get a mixture of small, medium, and some really big frames, so that I could have all different sizes.

But one day I had an idea. Jeff and I went down to D.I. and picked out about 13 frames. Man, these frames were hideous, but we could see the potential. We picked all different sizes and shapes, and got all of them for about 14 dollars. Can you say deal!?

I brought them home and spray painted them all black. Then we picked out the pictures, and got them printed out at Walmart. After that it was just a matter of putting the pictures in the frames, and hanging them on the wall.

I think it turned out beautifully!

This is the best I can do for a before picture:

And then after:

I so want to do that, but I have this idea in my head that if we are renting we cant. I always feel like whats the point, but then I see that everyone else does it. Go to Rachel Busby's blog. She has a way cute idea as well I think you would like.
