1. I love witches. Absolutely love them. I am not sure where this demented obsession came from, but I think it is here to stay. As I sit on my couch right now and look around my living room, I can count seven different witch decorations--and that is just merely the beginning. I also absolutely adore Nightmare Before Christmas--if I added the number of Nightmare Before Christmas decorations to my list, it would bump it up to 10. Just in the room that I am sitting in. Cackle, cackle, cackle.

2. Documentaries enthrall me. Just visiting the FRONTLINE website sends shivers down my spine. It doesn't matter the subject, although animal documentaries are particularly thrilling.
3. Well, this isn't really a secret, but I'll use it anyway. I have a huge schnoz. Yep, my nose is horrendously huge. My friends growing up (Kelli) used to like to say it was a ski slope. It is all my father's fault. Sometimes it surprises me how much it sticks out of my face--like I have an idea of what I look like in my head, and then I look in the mirror and say to myself, "Woah! Did your nose get bigger? Nope, I guess I just forgot how big my nose really is." Enjoy the slopes below.

3. I am addicted to This American Life podcasts and Audible.com audiobooks. I listen to them everywhere I go. As I walk across campus. As I wait for the bus. As I drive. They are a fantastic way to make the most of your spare time, while learning about new and exciting subjects. I am currently listening to: the newest podcast--My big break, and my audiobook--No Good Country For Old Men. It isn't the best book I have ever read--actually kind of boring. Sadly. Oh well!!
4. I recently self-diagnosed myself as suffering from Chilblains. My toes are red and swollen, at itch terribly! Definition: Chilblains are acral ulcers (that is, ulcers affecting the extremities) that occur when a predisposed individual is exposed to cold and humidity. The cold exposure damages capillary beds in the skin, which in turn can cause redness, itching, blisters, and inflammation. It is incredibly annoying and painful. I think that I have developed this because my house is incredibly cold. The gas heater in our living room hardly does anything, although it is going to cost a fortune when I see this next month's gas bill. Just another reason to look forward to leaving Provo forever!!
This isn't my foot, but it exemplifies the red, swollen itchiness that I feel almost every day.
This isn't my foot, but it exemplifies the red, swollen itchiness that I feel almost every day.5. One of my favorite desserts of all time is Olive Garden's Black Tie Mousse Cake. Seriously delicious. Oooh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Yum, yum, yum.

6. Last but not least--I really, really wish that I could drink coffee. I love the flavor of coffee, and I think it would be fantastic to have a little shot of expresso after a good, tasty meal. I believe I developed this desire in Europe, after seeing all of the scenic, quaint cafes. In my version of heaven, we will be able to drink as much coffee as we want--and it won't be addictive, stain our teeth, make our breath stink, or cost any money.
And now, I am going to tag...Kelli, Shayla, My Momma, Jeff, Katie, and Bekah. What are six random things about you guys??

Yea that thing about coffee is me to. I love the jamochoa shakes from Arbys, but Mark doesnt like me getting them. Coffee icecream is good to. However I dont love the smell of coffee. i like how you diagnosed yourself.
oh my goodness honey, your nose is NOT big! If your nose is big, then so is just about everyone else's. You should see the Hegji nose. My husband doesn't have it but the rest of his family does...typical Croatian nose.
I'm sorry to hear about your feet. I'm sure you've already tried this, but soaking them in Epsom salts might help with the swelling and any possible bacteria growing under your toenails. I hope they get better soon. Sore feet are the worst!
What a fabulous list! I think I knew about audible.com but that's about it. I'm glad you tagged me. This should be fun!
Oh, and the "enjoy the slopes below" comment made me laugh out loud. (I totally disagree with your nasal appraisal though).
oh dang it!! now i have to use my brain?!? sheesh... ha ha and i love the ski slope comment :) i totally forgot about that! man i'm a nasty friend!
very interesting and informative. It's funny to hear how other people view themselves and what they're self-conscious about. I've never thought your nose was big or unsightly in any way. I just thought, "darn, when Jeff and Steph get married I'll lose my spot as prettiest sister-in-law." (Yes, the competition was fierce) :)
