Well, now that school has started, I never seem to find time to blog anymore! Plus, we never do anything fun when we're in school anyway...
But everything is going well so far. Jeff is taking a full schedule and working part time. He is taking all kinds of fun classes like Genetics, Organic Chemistry and Physiology... and I wish that I could take them! He is working at Western Wats as a data process person. Haha I still don't really know what he does there, but he loves it, so that makes me happy. He still finds time to watch football games and be ecstatic when UNLV wins. You really should have seen his face the other day when he found out that UNLV beat Arizona State. I have never seen his smile bigger...even when we got married! Just kidding, but he sure is excited for all the sports seasons again.
I am going to school and working as well. This is my senior year, so I am taking a full class load of only psychology classes. I thought that it was going to be intense, but it is going well so far! A lot of reading, but good! I also got a new job as a teaching assistant for a sociology professor. I really like it! I attend the classes (2 of them) three times a week, do the grading, and am working on writing the tests and quizzes. I never knew how hard writing tests could be! I definitely look at tests with a different perspective now. Hopefully I will still really enjoy my job once midterms come around and I have 120 essays to grade! Besides that job, I am also a research assistant for a team studying group therapy interventions. We are doing the preliminary work right now, getting everything set up before we start collecting data. Pretty soon we will be working with groups at the BYU Counseling Center and the Utah State Mental Hospital. It is fun so far, and even more fun because I will be getting paid for it! Whoo hoo!
Hero is still the same little monster as ever. I love her.
Last weekend we were able to drive down to Las Vegas for Jason's wedding. It was great to see everyone again! We got to drive down with Kelli and I had so much fun hanging out with her again! We also got to spend almost all day with Carli! I had a really neat time at the sealing, because it is the first one that I have been to since my own! It was kind of like re-living the experience, just from a different point of view this time. But I was so happy for Jay, and he looked so happy!
We also had a little time to spend with my family. Holy cow, Bekah is getting so tall! She really is so beautiful, and so old! I can't believe it. And Katie, wow time is flying! She is a senior this year, and is getting ready to apply for BYU! I can't wait till she comes up here--party time!
Well, that is pretty much everything that is going on in our lives. Sorry there are no fun pictures this time--I will be sure to suggest to Jeff to take me out on a really fun date so that we can take pictures and post them (date?? yeah right)! Until later then!
